Classic 13 Tattoo

I am new to the tattoo world and wanted to get one while I was in town for work. I got my tattoo done with Chip and oh my gosh what an amazing artist, person and experience! I went in with an idea of what I wanted and picture but Chip gave me some advice about the design, etc., and actually took the time to draw something up for me that represented my family as a whole, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. But my favorite part was the process, our conversations, the stories we talked about our lives and experiences we had and he even shared with me music he created. It was just an amazing experience I had and felt like I was with a friend. What an amazing person and tattoo artist, I haven’t laughed like that in a while!!! Thank you so so much Chip!!! I couldn’t recommend him enough - Blessed!

Wanted to get my 14 year old daughter’s earlobe pierced. Not a nose, belly button or cartilage, an earlobe! They would not do it because she didn’t have a government issued ID. I had her original birth certificate, original school ID and my unexpired ID. They said the state of Alabama required she have a government issued ID. Meanwhile, Cloud 9 Tattoo shop down the street said the documents I had are acceptable. Cloud 9 couldn’t pierce my daughter’s earlobe because they didn’t have any availability. Not blaming Classic 13 (hence the 3 rating) because they apparently have their own policies, but I suggest they get consistent with their peers, especially just for an earlobe! I ended up going to Savage Patch and getting it pierced! Edited to respond to owner… Not inconvenienced and no need to apologize. I just suggest being consistent with peers, especially for an earlobe. I’ve used you all before so you were my first choice. I took my business elsewhere, to one of your competitors. Having a state issued ID from a minor, when you have original birth certificate, school ID and parent ID, has nothing to do with safety. Best of luck in your business.

Collin did an amazing job on two of my tattoos in one day! Efficient timing and flawless execution; the designs were killer! The shop is super clean, and the lady working reception is a doll! Great atmosphere!

Went as a walk-in for a piercing. They were super friendly, very knowledgeable, and SO QUICK! We met a couple of their staff and all of them were so nice and helpful!! The piercer (I believe he said he name is Jordy? I’m such an jerk. Forgive me if I got that wrong!!!!). Did a AMAZING job. I was comfortable, he was super professional but kept me at ease. Talked me through it and didn’t mind me dropping an f bomb or two! lol. I told him I have an issue with needles so I did NOT want to even see them before hand. He kept em hidden and I definitely appreciated that!!! I saw them after and definitely would have backed out had I seen em before! Thank you all!!!! I will definitely be coming back! Ready to get my first tattoo!!! 😊

We left before we actually got tattoos here, and thank God we did. When we walked in the door, we were not greeted because the front desk staff member was leaning back in an office chair, scrolling on his phone. There were three artists chatting it up behind the counter, while at least 10 people sat in the lobby waiting to get a tattoo. After 35 minutes of waiting, we were finally greeted and Chip was assigned to be the artist that was going to do mine, my mother, and my best friend’s tattoos. At the very first approach he was incredibly rude, sassy, and unprofessional, acting like we were inconveniencing him just by being there. It’s almost like you picked this to be your career and chose to be here. Weird. We gave him the design, and he went and printed it. What he printed was not at all what we wanted. It looked like a page torn out of a children’s coloring book. When we told him that’s not the image we showed him, and it wasn’t exactly our style, he took it personally and said “that’s exactly what you showed me by the way.” Then stormed off and ripped the paper up while walking away. We finally had enough and walked out. I cannot recommend hard enough to stay away from this place.

Went for a septum piercing. Building was clean, staff were helpful and my wait was short. My piercer, Jory, was professional while being laid back in a reassuring way. We cracked jokes and he made adjustments to my piercing with enthusiasm and didn't make me feel like a bother whatsoever. The piercing was quick and clean and I left happy and confident with my new jewelry. Will definitely be coming back here for all my future body modifications.
